Workroom Tip;

Jan Johnson was kind enough to share this workroom tip with me:

Who hasn't grabbed a roll of cardboard tack strip only to have it unroll into an unmanagable mess?

If you draw a bead of hot glue in an "X" shape across the roll, it will stay together until you need to unroll it. Then when you roll off some yardage, the solidified hot glue will easily pop off.

Thanks Jan!

Furniture Patterns giving new life to old things!

See how to creatively take an old piece of furniture and breathe new life to its existence. In a world of disposable furniture or pieces out of ones price range, bargain hunting and restoration is a great alternative! We can make old furniture look modern!

Barbara Barry

On March 11th I had the opportunity to attend the ADC Day of Design at the Arizona Design Center.  Barbara Barry, a well-know interior and product designer was the keynote speaker.

Here is a Barbara Berry quote;

"If you can picture it, you can make it."

That one simple sentence struck me as profound.
